Motor and Technology Museum in Otrębusy
The Motor and Technology Museum in Otrębusy ( Prywatne Muzeum Motoryzacji i Techniki w Otrębusach ) is a private vintage car museum in the village of Otrębusy near Warsaw . It is the largest automobile museum in Eastern Europe and contains one of the most extensive private collections of engine technology in Europe.

The museum was founded in 1995 by the Mikiciuk family. Vehicles from a collection that have been acquired by museum owners since the 1970s and restored since the 1980s are on display. The entire collection contains almost 1,000 historical vehicles (cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, bicycles, tanks, airplanes), including replicas . Around 300 exhibits are shown in the exhibition in Otrębusy and in the Koneser factory on Ząbkowska Street in Warsaw.
Although in private hands, the museum is entered in the museum directory of the country of Poland. Numerous events are organized by the museum sponsor. Film productions are also regularly supplied from the collection (a main source of income for museum operators alongside the restoration of vintage cars from other collectors). So far, the museum has provided around 500 films; Vehicles from the inventory were used for the filming of Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg , The Pianist by Roman Polański , Strajk - Die Heldin von Danzig by Volker Schlöndorff , Pope John Paul II (film) or the Polish television series Czas Honoru . The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The oldest vehicle shown is an American titanium tractor from 1895. The oldest truck in inventory is a Mercedes model from 1913. The museum's oldest car - also the oldest car in Poland - is an 1897 JAG from the United States States. The older models also include a Fiat from 1919, a BMW Dixi from 1928 and the last surviving car from Oświęcim-Praga , a Praga Piccolo .
The collection has many vehicles from prominent previous owners. There is a custom-made ZIS convertible for Josef Stalin , a Mercedes-Benz 170 V from Loda Halama , a ZIS-110 (company car from Władysław Gomułka ), a Buick Wildcat (a gift from the American Catholic Church to the Polish Cardinal and Primate Stefan Wyszyński ), an Austin Six (official car of the Secretary General of the Polish Central Committee Bolesław Bierut ), an armored Peugeot 604 (official vehicle of Prime Minister Wojciech Jaruzelski ) and the Buick Skylark of Polish Prime Minister Józef Cyrankiewicz .
In restoration are currently a Polish 7TP -Panzer and a Polish reconnaissance tankette TKS .
