Moulin des Mondrins in Cherrueix (2012)

The Moulin des Mondrins is a windmill in Cherrueix , a French commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany , which was built in the 19th century. In 1977, the former windmill on the Route de la Saline was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The quarry stone mill with a conical roof is one of three mills in Cherrueix that were built in the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel because of the strong winds . All three mills have the same design.

The Moulin des Mondrins , which ceased operations after the Second World War , was converted into a residential building.
