Moulton is a city in Lavaca County in the US state of Texas in the United States .
geography
The city is located at the junction of Highway 95 with Farm Roads 532 and 1680, on the Southern Pacific Railroad in the south-east of Texas and has a total area of 2.1 km² without any significant water surface.
Demographic data
According to the 2000 census, 944 people lived here in 383 households and 243 families. The population density was 444.5 inhabitants per km ². The racial the population was composed of 95.87% White, 0.74% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.11% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, and 2.33% other ethnic groups. About 0.95% were mixed race and 13.14% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
