Mount Adkins is a 1700 m high mountain on the Lassiter coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It towers over the northern flank of the Mosby Glacier immediately west of the confluence of the Fenton Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using surveys and aerial photographs from the United States Navy between 1961 and 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Thomas Adkins, the crew cook at Palmer Station in the winter of 1965.
