Mount Aldrich is a massive mountain with a slightly flattened peak on the east side of the Ragotzkie Glacier in the Britannia Range in the Transantarctic Mountains .
He was discovered by participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott . Scott named the mountain after Admiral Pelham Aldrich (1844–1930), who advised him on the preparation of the expedition.
