Mount Angier is a prominent mountain in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . It looms in the Moore Mountains of the Queen Elizabeth Range .
Participants of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1961–1962) named him after Lieutenant Commander Donald Landes Angier (1928–2005) of the United States Navy , a pilot in reconnaissance and supply flights during the research trip .
