Mount Arcone is a 1350 m high and horseshoe-shaped mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Nash Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it rises on the east side of the Dickey Glacier and 11 km north of Mount Canopus .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after Steven Anthony Arcone (* 1944) of the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL), who carried out six radar surveys in the South Pole region, the Transantarctic Mountains and the West Antarctic between 1993 and 2002 Ice sheet carried out.
