The Mount Athabasca is a 3491 m high mountain in the Canadian Rocky Mountains in the province of Alberta .
Located in the Columbia Ice Field in Jasper National Park , it was first climbed in 1898 by J. Norman Collie and Hermann Woolley . A characteristic feature of it is a tip shaped like a horn near the summit, the Silverhorn (German "Silberhorn").
