Mount Baleen is a striking and with 910 meters height, the highest mountain in Padesh Ridge of Aristotle Mountains on the Oscar-II. coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It looms between the Rachel Glacier and the Starbuck Glacier . Viewed from the Larsen Ice Shelf , one has a pyramid-like shape.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee gave it in 1976, like other geographical objects in the area, a name from the thematic area " whales and whaling ". Baleen Whales is the English name for baleen whales .
