Mount Bergen is a striking and 2110 m high mountain peak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 3 km west of Mount Gran on the northern flank of the Mackay Glacier .
The New Zealand Northern Group of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) carried out a geodetic survey of the summit in 1957 and named it after the Norwegian city of Bergen , the birthplace of Tryggve Gran , participant in the British Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913).
