Mount Bunt is a sharp-edged, conical and 2315  m high mountain peak of the Prince Charles Mountains in the east Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises at the southwest end of a group of low peaks around 11 km southeast of Mount Hollingshead in the Aramis Range .

It was discovered in January 1957 by the southern group of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions under the direction of the Australian mountaineer William Gordon Bewsher (1924–2012). The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named him on July 22, 1957 after John Stewart Bunt (* 1927), a biologist at Mawson Station in 1956.
