Mount Bushnell State Park is a state park in the US state of Connecticut in the area of the municipality of Washington , south of Lake Waramaug . You can hike in the park, but there is little information and hardly any views of the lake.

The Mount Bushnell State Park covers 87 ha (247 acre) over the mountains south of Lake Waramaug. The closest state park is Lake Waramaug State Park on the opposite side (northwest) of the lake. Further west is the Iron Mountain Preserve . The highest peaks in the park are Mount Bushnell at 359 m (1178 ft) and Tinker Hill at 320 m (1050 ft) above sea level , which rise more than 100 m above the south shore of Lake Waramaug.
