Mount Cantello is a 1,820 m high mountain in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Bowers Mountains, it rises on the northern flank of Crawford Glacier at a distance of 4 miles northwest of Mount Keith .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and using aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1960 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Dominic Cantello Jr. (1941-2014), who was on the Amundsen-Scott in 1965 -South Pole Station worked as an electrician.
