Max Johannesson
Johannes Maximilian "Max" Johannesson (born March 21, 1856 in Danzig ; † December 24, 1930 in Berlin ) was a Prussian high school teacher and textbook author.
Life
Max Johannesson was a secret tutor, director of studies and professor at the Königl. Prussian Hauptkadettenanstalt Lichterfelde and taught there for many years. He was a member of the Society for Geography in Berlin . On behalf of the General Inspectorate of Military Education and Training , he wrote the "Johannesson Textbooks" for French lessons, which were primarily intended for military schools, especially cadet schools .
Max Johannesson was married to Amalie Auer since December 1894. One of his sons was the Admiral Rolf Johannesson . Another son was Hans Johannesson (1898–1941), who served as adjutant to Nazi party politician Gregor Strasser in 1931/1932 and died in Russia in 1941.
