The Mount Chephren is in the Canadian foothills of the Rocky Mountains lying mountain that due to its shape after Chephren was named. The 3,274 m high mountain is located about six kilometers northwest of Howse Peak , the highest peak in the Waputik range in Banff National Park , and can be easily seen from the Icefields Parkway .

The first ascent took place in 1913 by JWA Hickson, led by Edward Feuz jr.
The mountain was first named "Pyramid Mountain" by J. Norman Collie in 1897 , but since another peak with the same name already existed in the adjacent Jasper National Park , it was renamed "Mount Chephren" in 1918.
