Mount Colbert is a 2580 m high mountain in the Queen Maud Mountains of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the southeastern part of the Hays Mountains, it rises 2.5 km east of Mount Borcik and 1.5 km south-southwest of Mount Stump .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after the US geologist Philip V. Colbert of Arizona State University , logistic coordinator and field research assistant in six campaigns of the United States Antarctic Research Program in the Transantarctic Mountains between 1971 and 1982.
