Mount Collard

Mount Collard ( French Mont Collard ) is a 2350  m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises 5.5 km south of Mount Perov on the southern foothills of the Belgica Mountains .

Participants in the Belgian Antarctic Expedition in 1957/58 under Gaston de Gerlache de Gomery (1919-2006) discovered him. It is named after the Belgian politician Léo Collard (1902–1981), minister for public education in his home country.
