Mount Coman is a prominent, isolated and 3655 m high mountain in the southern center of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises immediately west of the Playfair Mountains .
Participants of the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948) discovered him. Expedition leader Finn Ronne named him after Francis Dana Coman (1895–1952), doctor of the Byrd Antarctic Expedition (1928–1930).
