Mount Futago ( Japanese 二 子 山 Futago-yama , German 'twin mountain ' ) is a 245 m high mountain with double peaks in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises in the northern section of the Langhovde group of hills .
It was mapped using surveys and aerial photographs taken by the Japanese Antarctic Expedition (1957–1962). The descriptive naming of the mountain in 1972 was translated into English by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1975.
