Mount Gibson is a small mountain in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . In the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises 4 km west of Mount Cameron and 5 km south of Schmitter Peak .
Aerial photographs taken in 1956 and 1960 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after Peter R. Gibson, a plumber on Wilkes Station in 1965.
