Mount Gleeson is a 1359 m high mountain with a 3 km long and rocky ridge in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Prince Charles Mountains it rises 10 km west of Mount Woinarski .
Aerial photographs taken in 1956 and 1960 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after Thomas Kevin Gleeson, a weather observer at Wilkes Station in 1965.
