Mount Greenfield is a 1490 m high and ice-free mountain in the East Antarctic Coatsland . It rises at the west end of Stephenson Bastion in the Shackleton Range .
It was mapped in 1957 by participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955–1958) under the direction of British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs . It is named after George Charles Greenfield (1917–2000), who participated in the expedition as a literary agent.
