Mount Hassage is a 1120 m high, prominent and isolated mountain on the Orville coast in the east of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 19 km south-southwest of Mount Horne and west-southwest of the Hauberg Mountains .
He was discovered during the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948). It marks the southwestern turning point of a reconnaissance flight carried out on November 21, 1947 during this research trip. Expedition leader Finn Ronne named the mountain after Charles Hassage (1919-2003), the chief marine engineer on this expedition.
