Mount Isherwood is a flattened and mostly icy mountain with steep cliffs in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . In the Kohler Range it rises 6 km west-southwest of Mount Strange .
The first aerial photographs were taken in January 1947 during the US Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1967 after the geophysicist William F. Isherwood, who was part of the United States Antarctic Research Program on the second South Pole Queen Maud Land Traverse (1965-1966) and on one from 1966 to 1967 continuous survey campaign in Marie-Byrd-Land was involved.
