Mount Jiracek is a 2430 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Southern Cross Mountains it rises on the western flank of the Tinker Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after George R. Jiracek, geophysicist at McMurdo Station from 1964 to 1965.
