Mount Kammuri ( Japanese か ん む り 山 Kanmuri-yama , German 'Kronenberg' ) is a 340 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . On the Prince Harald Coast, it rises 2.5 km south-southeast of Mount Chōtō in the center of the Langhovde group of hills .
Surveys and aerial photographs of a Japanese Antarctic expedition carried out from 1957 to 1962 were used to map it. The naming by Japanese scientists took place in 1973. This transferred the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1975 in an orthographically incorrect partial translation into English.
