Mount Kenney is a 2030 m high and sharp-rimmed mountain peak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises 3 miles east of Shackleton Glacier and 10 miles northwest of Mount Wade in the Prince Olav Mountains .
Participants in Operation Highjump (1946–1947) discovered and photographed him. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him 1962 by Leroy S. Kenney, reserve lieutenant of the US Marine Corps , pilot of the squadron VX-6 of the US Navy on several Deep Freeze operations .
