Mount Lampert is a 1100 m high mountain on the Lassiter coast of the Palmerland in the south of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 10 km west of Kelsey Cliff in the Guettard Range .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Irwin Ronald Lampert (* 1942), warehouse manager at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1964.
