Mount Mahan is a 1260 m high mountain in Marie Byrd Land in western Antarctica . In the Bender Mountains, it rises 5 km east of Mount Fiedler .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1967 after Shirley Frank Mahan (1930-2014), a radio operator on the Byrd station in Antarctica Winter 1960.
