Mount Matthias is a 1610 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the western section of the Everett Range in the Concord Mountains, it rises 5 km east of Mount Dockery .
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Lieutenant Commander Jack M. Matthias, maintenance officer and aircraft commander of the VX flight squadron -6 in Operation Deep Freeze in 1968 and 1969.
