Mount McCormick is a 1050 m high mountain in Marie-Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Ford Ranges it rises 3 km southeast of Mount Ralph .
Scientists from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered and mapped it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after William S. McCormick (1913-2001), a pilot in the second Antarctic expedition (1933-1935) of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
