The Mount McQuillan is a mountain on Vancouver Iceland in the Canadian province of British Columbia .
The 1575 m high mountain is located 21 km (13 mi) southeast of Port Alberni and 13 km (8 mi) south of Mount Arrowsmith . Rift Creek , a tributary of the Nitinat River, has its source on the mountain . The basin at the head of McQuillan Creek , which runs from the north flank of the main peak and its smaller peak to the west, is called the King Solomon Basin . The body of water at the head of the Franklin River is called Father and Son Lake .
