Mount Mervyn is a pointed and 2286 m high mountain in the east Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises 10 km south of Mount Kirkby in the main massif of the Porthos Range of the Prince Charles Mountains .
The team around the Australian mountaineer William Gordon Bewsher (1924-2012) sighted him in December 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . It is named after Mervyn Valdemar Christensen (* 1923), meteorologist at Mawson Station in 1956.
