Mount Midnight is a 2000 m high mountain in the Admiralty Mountains in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the north flank of the Tucker Glacier about 5.5 km west of Shadow Bluff .
The first ascent was made in January 1958 by participants in the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1957-1958), who named it after the naming of Mount Shadow and Shadow Bluff to the east .
