Mount Ormay is a 1526 m high mountain with numerous ridges in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises one mile south of Mount Butterworth in the Aramis Range of the Prince Charles Mountains .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 and 1960 were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after the Hungarian- born Peter Ivan Ormay (* 1938), a plumber at Wilkes Station in 1963.
