The Mount Road (also Waratah Road ) is a trunk road in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania . It connects the Murchison Highway (A10) south of the Hellyer Gorge with the mining settlement Savage River between the rivers Savage River and Heazlewood River .

The road begins at the junction with the Murchison Highway as an extension of the Ridgley Highway (B18) to the west. It runs through bushland to the small town of Waratah below Mount Bischoff . Then she continues her way to the southwest and later again to the west through the hilly Deep Gully Forest Reserve and the settlement of Luina . Further west it crosses the Heazlelwood River and follows it on its west bank to the southwest to the end point Savage River.
