The Savage River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

River course

The river has its source on the western edge of Savage River National Park and flows southwest along the western edge of the park. In its middle reaches it passes the settlement Savage River in the northwest. In the Pieman River State Reserve , it flows into the Pieman River around two kilometers north of the Corinna settlement .
