Mount Shadbolt is a 2270 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is the highest peak in the northern part of the Convoy Range and towers on the north side of the head end of the Towle Valley .
Scientists from a 1976 to 1977 campaign of the New Zealand Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named it after the New Zealand writer Maurice Shadbolt (1932-2004).
