Mount Thurman is a 780 m high mountain on the Dufek coast in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It is the highest point of the Bravo Hills , the lower foothills of the Prince Olav Mountains and rises between the mouths of the Gough and Le Couteur glaciers in the Ross Ice Shelf .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Robert Kenneth Thurman (1914-2015), deputy chief of staff for the operations of the support units of the United States Navy in Antarctica in 1963.
