Mount Van Mieghem ( French Mont Van Mieghem ) is a 2450 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Belgica Mountains, it rises 1.5 km south of Mount Perov .
Participants in the Belgian Antarctic Expedition in 1957/58 under Gaston de Gerlache de Gomery (1919-2006) discovered him. It is named after the Belgian atmospheric researcher Jaques Van Mieghem (1905–1980), president of the scientific committee of the research trip.
