The Mount Wood is a 4842 m high mountain in the Saint Elias Mountains in the Yukon Territory in Canada . The mountain was named in 1900 by surveyor JJ McArthur after Major Zachary Taylor Wood, a member of the Northwest Mounted Police at Dawson in 1900.
The mountain is located on the northern border of Kluane National Park and is the seventh highest mountain in Canada. Mount Wood is located 12 miles north-northwest of Mount Steele . The Mount Wood Glacier flows north from the east flank to the Klutlan Glacier .

The first ascent of the summit was made in 1941 by Walter Wood, Anderson Blakewell and Albert Jackman.
