Moussa Koita (born November 19, 1982 in Saint-Denis ) is a former French - Senegalese football player .

Career

Koita first played in the French amateur leagues. In 2007 he committed Royal Excelsior Virton , who played in the 2nd division in Belgium. In the 2007/08 season he was able to score 15 goals and missed with his team participation in the promotion round. A year later he was able to score again 16 goals, but rose with his team at the end of the season. Then first division team KRC Genk took him under contract. In the 2009/10 season he mostly came on as a substitute. In January 2010 he was loaned to Sporting Charleroi until the end of the season, where he only made five appearances.

During the summer break for the 2010/11 season of A Grupa , Koita moved to the Bulgarian first division club FC Chernomorez Burgas . He stayed there until August 2011, when FC Chernomorets Burgas terminated the contract due to financial problems. He joined Olympiacos Nicosia , where he retired a year later.
