The second division 2007/08 was the 91st season of the second highest Belgian division in men's football . It started on August 29, 2007 and ended on May 11, 2008.

19 clubs played against each other twice on a total of 38 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. KFC Verbroedering Geel had beaten UR Namur in last year's relegation round and qualified for this year's season. The license was initially not granted. The association proposed a season with 17 teams. Namur then sued. After another complaint from Verbroedering Geel, the season was carried out with 19 teams.

The table first and champion rose directly. At the end of September 2007, the association decided that there would be no stage champions this year. In the play-off round, the teams took part in places two to five.

The teams in the last two ranks were relegated to the third division . The third from last had to go into relegation.
