The second division 1951/52 was the 35th season of the second highest Belgian division in men's football . It began in September 1951 and ended in May 1952.

The game was played in two groups of 16 clubs each. Each team played against each other twice on a total of 30 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. The two top of the table rose to the first division .

reform

For the last time, the second division played in two groups. With the establishment of the fourth division (promotion) in the following year, the league system was reformed. Therefore, the teams that finished ninth to fifteen were relegated to the third division . The bottom of the table had to go to the fourth division.
