Moyher Ridge is a narrow and rocky ridge in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It extends in a west-southwest-east-northeast orientation between the Saltzman Glacier and the Giles Glacier in the south of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains . This mountain range is not continuous, but is broken through by icy mountain saddles between the individual peaks.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2006 after the American oceanographer Marian Estelle Moyher (* 1956), laboratory director of the United States Antarctic Program at McMurdo Station , the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station and the Palmer Station between 1997 and 2001 who previously worked on the Palmer station between 1993 and 1997.
