Mozart Janot Júnior

Mozart Janot Júnior (* 1922 in Japuíba , Cachoeiras de Macacu , Rio de Janeiro (federal state) ; † December 28, 1992 ) was a Brazilian diplomat.

Life

Mozart Janot Júnior was the son of Mozart Janot, who was mayor of the state of Rio de Janeiro in 1941. In 1943 he studied law at the Colégio Masculino do Instituto La-Fayette as well as the history of the humanities and introduction to philosophy at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro .

From 1944 he was an editor and translator for the British Broadcasting Corporation and was then employed as an editor in the Ministry of Education. In 1952 he joined the Foreign Service, where he from 1963 until August 27, with registered office in Beirut as chargé d'affaires in Damascus was used and the St. Catherine's Monastery (Sinai) attended. In 1971 Janot was retired .
