Mozart Santos Batista Júnior , short Mozart , (born November 8, 1979 in Curitiba , Brazil ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The defensive midfielder last played for AS Livorno .

Mozart began his career in his hometown with Coritiba FC , but quickly moved to Flamengo in Rio , during this time Brazil was part of the selection for the 2000 Olympic football tournament , in preparation and during the tournament he made 15 international appearances, the first two in November 1999 against Australia's A selection .

Through his performances there, the Italian first division club Reggina Calcio became aware of him, where he was a regular for five years before he finally moved to the Premjer League to Spartak. At the beginning of 2009 he moved to Palmeiras São Paulo , about six months later he joined a new club, AS Livorno .
