Mpho [ ˈmpo ] (* in South Africa ; full name Mpho Skeef ) is a British singer and songwriter.
biography
Mpho is a daughter of the South African musician Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse . She grew up in South London and began her music career as a background singer, for example for Ms. Dynamite or Natasha Bedingfield , and can be heard on the album Sound Mirrors by Coldcut . She is also the voice on the chart hit Booty La La by the DJ project Bugz in the Attic .
In 2009 their first own release came out, the single Box N Locks , which became a minor chart hit in England. In the same year, she also participated in the charity Young Soul Rebels .
