Mraźnica (Zakopane)

The Mraznica is a district of the Polish town of Zakopane at the foot of the Western Tatras in the Tatra County in the Malopolska province .

location

The district is located in the south of the city at an altitude of 832 meters above sea level. The Potok zza Bramki and Miśkowiec streams flow through the district . The district borders directly on the Tatra National Park .

etymology

The name can be translated as "game reserve made of conifers", whereby it goes back to the game reserve set up here.

tourism

The district is on the Droga pod Reglami hiking trail .
