Muchammad Nurmufid (born June 7, 1969 in Sidoarjo ) is an Indonesian beach volleyball player .

Career

Nurmufid played his first international tournament in Enoshima in 1993 with Akhmad Junaidi and came straight into the top ten in ninth place. In 1994 he completed two more open tournaments with Junaidi before forming a new duo with Markoji Markoji . Markoji / Nurmufid reached places 20 and 25 in Enoshima and Carolina. On the 1995 World Tour they came in either 17th or 25th place in all of their tournaments. The 1996 Open tournaments all finished in 25th place. They also qualified for the Olympic Games in Atlanta . There they lost their first game against the Spaniards Bosma / Jimenez and were eliminated in the losers round with a defeat against the Argentine duo Martínez / Conde . In 1997 they played three more open tournaments and achieved a 33rd place in Marseille as the best result of the year .
